During the day, solar panels absorb sunlight and convert solar energy into electrical energy, which is stored in energy storage devices (batteries or capacitors). At night, the electrical energy in the energy storage devices is automatically converted into light energy (controlled by photoelectric switches) and emitted by LEDs. Bright light outlines the road and induces the driver’s sight. Solar road studs will starts automatically to flash when night falls or with the onset of inclement weather .The bright flashing LEDs are highly effective at getting the attention of drivers much earlier than conventional road studs.
To install Solar Road Studs safely, it is of utmost importance to secure the workers and the street safely!
1. Mark the proper position for the solar road studs.
2. Clean road with a brush, to make the surface of road smooth, clean and dry.
3. Put glue on the bottom evenly. Keep it in the right direction and press it into the road tightly
4. Check within 2 hours of installation to ensure that all studs are not installed incorrectly and are not bent or deformed due to compression
5. After 4 hours of installation, the glue will dry completely.
6. Remove the installation isolation facility within 6-8 hours after the installation of the solar road studs.
On the highway, please install the solar road studs every 5 to 8 meters.
On the ordinary roads, please install it every 3 to 5 meters.
On the Parking Lot, Garden or Dangerous Zone，pls install road stud every 0.5-2 meters
The distance between of each solar road stud also according to the actual application requirement.
